Dandies Barbershop and Beard Stylist policies on No Show, Late Cancellations

Dandies barbershop is a place to get amazing haircuts for you. To ensure the best experience, our staff has developed certain policies to keep everyone safe and secure. These policies are based on business etiquette, common sense, and human decency. At Dandies we strive to provide you, our customers with nothing but the best. For this reason we have set out a few rules and regulations which all barbers and customers must adhere to. We have certain policies for cleanliness, safety, and customer service. These policies ensure the best experience possible.

We are often booked back to back. Our clients deserve the best service, so we allocate time for each client to manage their own time. We regretfully cannot satisfactorily complete any service if a client arrives before the scheduled time. Arriving on time for your scheduled appointment insures the proper time necessary for us to comfortably complete your services. We regretfully cannot satisfactorily complete any service if a client arrives more than 10 minutes late, and we reserve the right to decline any service to a client who is 10 minutes late for their scheduled appointment. The barber will charge 50% of the service fee as a late or no show policy.

We understand that things come up but we cannot keep your appointment nor schedule you for a new time if you do not give us enough advanced notice to fill the vacancy. We certainly don’t want to inconvenience you but we also cannot allow others to be inconvenienced or left waiting. If you miss your appointment, we will charge you NO SHOW fee mentioned in our appointment portal for NO SHOW / Late cancellation. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse future services to anyone who repeatedly fails to show up for an appointment without the courtesy of an advanced cancellation or notification.

It's important to give the barber shop a minimum of six hours' advance notice if you plan on canceling an appointment. The online booking service will allow you to change or cancel your appointments as needed. Barbers are working and busy with clients if you send us a Text message / or leave a voicemail / or send us a Email, cancellations are not final until we send a reply back confirming the cancellation. Our cancellation fee is listed next to each service in appointment portal. Best way to cancel is canceling online.

Dandies barbershop is a public place. Customers are expected to act with courtesy toward the shop's employees and other patrons. As a client, you and your behavior collectively contribute to the culture of the shop and barbers. As a patron, you have a responsibility to behave responsibly in the barbershop. If clients do something wrong, we will ask them to leave. Intoxicated / Bad Behaviour is not acceptable at Dandies. There are times when a barber or other customer may have to be asked to leave the shop. Please note, you will be charged for the hour at Dandies. Dandies Barbershop highly values its reputation in the community, and barbers are expected to work hard to protect it.

Drinks: California’s law, passed in 2016, stipulates that beauty salons or barbershops may serve alcohol without obtaining a license if The salon or shop serves no more than 12 ounces of beer or six ounces of wine to each customer. The drink is free and served during business hours and no later than 10 p.m. AB 1322 limits the offering to one beverage to ensure the safety of both the patron and other customers. Dandies Barbershops ask patrons not to drink more than "one drink" at a time, in order to ensure the safety of their other customers. This is not only mandated by the California state law, but it also reflects our values as a company

We want you to be happy with your purchase and to know that we stand behind our products and services. We provide a generous 30 day return policy on all of our unopened products, so there’s no risk to you. For opened products, there is 25% restocking fee. If for any reason you’re unsatisfied with your haircut or beard grooming session, we promise to fix your problem – free of charge! Let us know what we can do to make your day a little brighter. At Dandies we love the company of your pets and service animals. We ask that you keep them on a leash and under control while you visit Mountain View's neighborhood barbershop. Please obey our friendly staff and keep your pets in control and clean. Feel free to bring your pet, but please keep it leashed. Also, be mindful that other patrons would not want your dog near them, so be sure your dog is friendly and will not bother anyone. If we have to ask you to leave because of a pet disturbance, you’ll be invited back, but only if the behavior is corrected..
